Disney Princess on Ice
Chris and I took Holly to see Disney Princess on Ice on Nov. 3rd up in Portland. I actually won free tickets through a contest I entered. However, the tickets never got to me in time for the show. They told me there was nothing they could do. So, we ended up buying tickets last minute and going to the show. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe how many little girls were dressed up like Disney Princesses. Holly dressed up as Belle. So, I got very mad about not getting my tickets in time and I actually received the tickets in the mail a couple days late do to not putting enough postage on the envelope. Needless to say after ranting and raving I got free tickets to another Disney event in Feb. of next year. Just in time for Holly's B-day!
Halloween
We did Trunk or Treat at our Ward building. Holly wanted to be Belle. Carson was a Monkey, but everyone thought he was a Bear until they saw the long tail! Chris, Rusty and Amy were the Blue Man Group. Chris had the Blue Man Group music playing in the Durango and he passed out Blue candy. We had fun! I dressed up as a Biker Babe. I even dressed up at work!

Here we are!
It's been a while since I did my last blog-but take a look at our house-It's still not done yet, but here is a glimpse of what we've had done so far! It is almost finished! We painted part of the house last Saturday.
Mom and Dad came to visit over General Conference weekend. I was very excited to have them come visit and spend some time in OR. We had lots of fun. Holly loved having them here. I realized I didn't really take any pictures of our weekend together! Sorry!
Carson is all dressed up for church!
Here are the latest pictures of Holly:
She is showing her lip because one morning she fell on the cement step and she landed right on her face. Her front tooth put a big gash in her upper lip. She had a fat lip for a few days and her front tooth got pushed and is a little bit lower than the other tooth. Of course I'm all worried about it, but she says. "Mom my tooth feels better now."
I'll update my blog and show you the finished house and storage room we had added. Bye for now.

Hickman Hillbillies coming at you from Oregon!
Hey family and friends! I just got introduced to blogs from Denise and it looks like fun-so I think I will join in so that everyone can keep up with what is going on with the Hickman family. For those of you who haven't been to Oregon here is a picture of our place! Here's the front of the house. But by next week our house won't look like this. We are getting a porch, new roof, and new siding!
Here is the field between the house and the shop! We leveled the field here because some day I am going to put a swing set, pool, trampoline, etc to make it our backyard and play area for the kids! Here is our pond-it is right next to the shop! It's full of frogs! Holly loves to play outside!
I keep the Durango at home to use when we go somewhere as a family or on weekends. With the gas prices I can't drive the Durango all the time so that is why I have my Honda!

Yes I wrote Hickman Hillbillies and you can see why! We live out in the country and down at our shop we have lots of cars.
I thought you would like that! But really now that you have seen the hillbilly cars (or what I call Chris' junkyard) how about our daily drivers!
I drive my little Honda back and forth to work everyday and into town! It is a fun car and I like to zip around in it. Isn't it cute! Here I am picking up the kids after a full day of work. Carson always goes right for the wheel-He must be a car guy because he always wants to drive!

We are definetly a car family wouldn't you say? Let's see-how many cars do we have? With all the ones down at the shop (which Chris is working on getting rid of about 4) and the drivers we have 21 cars-most are not running! We are trying to sell about 4 cars in the next month or so. Chris is very happy to have a shop and land to store all his toys!
Last weekend we had our 1948 Chevy truck in the Sutherlin car show-Blackberry festival! It was lots of fun-we cruised the truck too. Holly had a lot of fun! Chris fixed up the truck and put the red wheels on and white wall tires-it has a retro look to it. We have been having lots of fun with the truck, but now we are selling it to pay for our house projects.
Most of our cars are Dodge (Mopar products). I really had to convince Chris on the Honda. But of course cars are not our first love. At least not my first love-I would have to say that would be my children!
