Mother's Day

Happy Mother's day to all the wonderful women in my family.  We had a fun day.  We had family and friends over after church for a lunch/dinner and fondu-yummy.  Chocolate and strawberries, sparkling cider, leftover Birthday cake, and gifts-what else could I ask for?  Well-I could ask for a lot more-but that's ok.  There is always hope for next year!!  It was relaxing and I enjoyed being with family.   

Soozee's B-day party

Since Soozee's Birthday was on Mother's Day this year-We had to give her a party on Saturday-separate from Mother's Day.  She wanted to have Mexican food and so we made it a Fiesta party.  It was lots of fun.  We had tostadas and taquitos for dinner, a Mexican Chocolate Birthday cake (which I slaved over all day-but it was worth it.), chocolate appetizers-which were so yummy.  We ate so much food and sugar that we all got hyper!  So-we had to work off all that food with the Mexican Hat dance and Just Dance 2.  That was lots of fun and it is a workout-trust me-I was sweatin'.  Everyone had lots of fun and I'm happy to say that Soozee felt special.  Not like "riding the short bus kindof special", she felt loved.  :)
