29 week Ultrasound

So today I had another ultrasound appointment that I scheduled myself since I really wanted to check the baby's gender again.  I've never felt unsure about what my kids were before so this is weird for me and kindof annoying.  I don't care either way and actually sometimes I wish I never would have found out with this one because I was so sure I was having a boy and todays ultrasound confirmed again that we are still having a Girl!!  But it has been bothering me since I thought I was having a boy and the way my pregnancy is going is telling me boy.  Then again each pregnancy can be different.  Chris laughed at me and asked me if I was satisfied now.  Maybe it's the move and dealing with a new office and new ultrasound tech that I just am unsure.  OH well!!!  It really doesn't matter either way, but I will be pretty mad if I end up having a boy.  I got some cute pictures of her face.

From this picture-she has a wider nose-I think she has Chris' nose!  HAHA
 Profile!!
OK-so what do you think?  Does that look like GIRL parts?  It's still blurry to me, but then again I don't see boy parts!

Either way we are getting anxious to meet our new baby girl in July.  I think she is going to be a handful like Carson, because she beats me up, she moves so much-just like Carson did.  I think we are pretty set on a name too-which is a good feeling to finally agree on a girl name.

Monster Truck show in Pocatello, ID

We went to the Monster Truck show at the Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho on Saturday April 21st. We went with friends of ours-Doug and Audrey and their son Cody (who is friends with Carson).  It was a good show.  They had tough truck racing, tractor pulling (which we haven't seen before at a show)-that was cool, and of course the different events of monster trucks.  It was a late show-since it started at 7:30pm and went until about 11pm.  We had fun though.  It was fun to see how Cody and Carson reacted to all the action.  They were so cute together.
Then on the drive home-this was how the boys were, crashed out in the back seat.  They had a great time.

Easter

Saturday began with the community egg hunt at Porter Park-which was really crazy.  I didn't like the way it was organized and there were a ton of people!  Then we had an egg hunt at the Grocery store and the kids got to take a picture with the easter bunny.  We just went to the store not knowing that they had all kinds of easter stuff going on.  Then we went to an egg hunt and BBQ in Denise's neighborhood. That was a lot nicer for the kids and especially the younger kids.

Carson only got 2 eggs!  It was so crazy, some kids didn't get any eggs-which is just sad, some people!

 At Broulim's market.
The egg hunt at Broulim's market, they had the eggs hidden on a couple isles.  That was fun and something different this year.

Cousins waiting for the egg hunt to start at Denise's neighborhood party.

I walked Shelby around to get her eggs.  She really liked finding the eggs and putting them in her bucket.
Opening their eggs to get the candy.  Shelby stuffed like 20 jellybeans in her mouth at once.  She was drooling different colors.  She eventually spit a bunch out right into my hand-yummy!
Eating something other than candy at the BBQ.

Sunday the kids found their Easter buckets and got all kinds of candy and toys.  It was fun to see how excited Shelby got about her easter bucket.  Then we went to church in our Easter best.  After church- family came over to my parents and we had dinner and the kids played with their cousins.  Then we had another egg hunt and decorating easter sugar cookies.  Then last- the adults had an egg hunt.  My mom and dad hide camouflaged eggs with #s in them for the adults.  They are actually really hard to find.  Chris and I had a hard time finding some, but with my dad's assistance we finally got our eggs.  Then my mom has a $ amount for each number in the eggs.  Chris and I were the big winners this year with the lucky #8 which won Chris $50.  We ended up getting $111 all together.  That was fun, I like that tradition.

Shelby was most excited about a new pack of pacifiers, which she calls, "binky"
 Carson loved his wall track!
Holly liked her dress up skirt.

Dressed in our Easter outfits!!!  Mainly the kids got new outfitts!

Easter egg hunt for the kids in G&G Jones' backyard.  Shelby now has the hang of this.  She wouldn't let go of her eggs for anything!!
Carson and Carter counting their eggs.

Overall, we had a very fun weekend.  The kids had lots of fun and got way too much candy.  Even with all the fun we try to remember the real reason we celebrate Easter, because of our Savior!  I tried to keep reminding my kids of that and that Easter isn't all about the Easter bunny and candy and egg hunts.  We need to remember what our Savior did for us.  I'm grateful for fun holidays that bring families closer together and keep us humble in remembering the true meaning.
